As a senior citizen, you may spend more time with doctors than you would like. At Prime Medic Urgent Care we understand this and we do our best to make the process as enjoyable as possible.
Well-Woman Exams
Well-Woman exams can vary but commonly include breast examinations, pelvic examinations, and a Pap test. These exams are a woman's best way to know her reproductive health and cancer risks. From the age of 21, it is recommended that all women receive an annual well-woman exam.
Osteoporosis Diagnosis & Treatment
Osteoporosis is a condition/disorder that results in a person having fragile bones. It is often caused by things that one cannot change such as race, gender, body frame, and genetic history. Stopping alcohol/tobacco use, maintaining adequate exercise and increasing your Calcium/Vitamin D intake helps you to prevent osteoporosis. We have on-site state-of-the-art whole-body bone densitometry to diagnose your osteoporosis.
Physical Exams
Physical exams vary widely depending on your underlying condition and the purpose of the exam (Pre-Op Clearance). A thorough physical exam will check your overall health (head, neck, abdominal area, limbs, and extremities). Also may include a blood test to check for anything not visible to the naked eye or in-office instruments.
School and Sports Physicals
The school and sports physicals are often geared to clear a student for a specific set of activities/sports. (i.e. basketball, football, volleyball, PE)
DOT Physical Exams
DOT exam involves testing a person's ability to operate commercial vehicles. In addition to a check of overall health (head, neck, abdominal area, limbs, and extremities); DOT physicals test driver's vision, blood pressure and diabetic status, among other things. It may involve drug-screening based on employer's request.
Certified Workers' Compensation
Worker's Compensation is a form of insurance that helps to replace lost wages for a person injured on the job.
Skin Lesion Removal & Treatment
Prime Medic Urgent Care offers a variety of removal and treatment methods for many types of skin lesions. A skin lesion is a portion of the skin that is different than the surrounding area. This can range from moles, rashes, and blisters to nodules, papules, and pustules.
On-Site X-Ray
Prime Medic Urgent Care offers our patients on-site X-Ray imaging. Having the ability to do these on-site saves you a lot of time and money. X-ray imaging, also known as medical imaging, is often helpful in finding broken bones and to diagnose infections like pneumonia and abdominal ailments.

In some cases, we may be able to offer telehealth services. When you call, please ask if that is an option for your condition.
