Our Providers


Dr. Sam Cherlo, MD

Dr. S. Cherlo is a graduate of Sri Venkateshwara Medical University in Kurnool, India. He trained in internal medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY. He has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1996. He has been practicing family medicine and urgent care at Prime Medic in the Kingwood-Cleveland area since 1997. Dr. Cherlo is the Medical Director at Cleveland Health Care Nursing Home and Rose of Texas Hospice. He is married, has 3 children and enjoys traveling.


Dr. Anand Basi, MD

Dr. Anand Basi is a graduate of Banglore Medical College in Banglore, India. He trained in internal medicine at St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO. He has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1998. Upon completion he accepted a position at St. Louis Veteran Medical Center as the facility Internist. In 2004 he moved to Texas and accepted a position at Prime Medic where he is currently practicing family medicine and urgent care in the Kingwood-Cleveland area.


Dr. Basi enjoys participating in marathons, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and the BP MS 150 Bike Ride. Dr. Basi is married and has 2 children.


Andy Gold, PA-C

Andy Gold, PA-C graduated from St. John’s University in Queens, NY in 2009 as a board certified Physician’s Assistant. He did his undergraduate work at Southern Utah University and Brigham Young University. He has been practicing family medicine and urgent care at Prime Medic since 2010. Prior to Prime Medic he worked in Pediatrics. Andy grew up in Coldspring TX. After high school, he served a 2 year LDS mission in Bogota, Colombia. He learned the value of hard work and became fluent in Spanish. Andy loves hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He is involved in scouting and in his community. Andy loves spending time with his wife and 3 children.


Mary Casebolt, NP-C

Mary Casebolt, NP-C graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2009 as a board certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Brigham Young University. Mary joined Prime Medic in 2016 utilizing her prior experience in urgent care and internal medicine. Mary enjoys teaching Sunday school classes to preschooler’s. She loves cooking for and spending time with her husband and 2 children.


Hemlata Patel, NP-C

Hemlata Patel, NP-C graduated in 2019 as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine. She completed both her Graduate and undergraduate degree at the University of Texas Arlington. Hemlata joined Prime Medic in 2021, bringing eight years of broad experience as an RN in cardiac and critical care. She is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi. Hema’s hobbies include reading, drawing and gardening. She loves cooking and spending time with her husband and two children.
